2011 Mitsubishi Global Small Concept
Global Small Mitsubishi Concept is powered by a three-cylinder MIVEC petrol, but when the production model debuts in 2012, 1.0 and 1.2-liter three-cylinder engines are also offered. Both plants are equipped with technology start-stop and regenerative braking. Besides the pair of models of petrol engines, Mitsubishi hopes to adjust the Global Small Concept with an electric motor.
Like pictures above, Mitsubishi launched its Global Small Concept at the Geneva Motor Show. This vehicle is expected to form the basis of the model from the automaker’s next B segment, replacing the outdated Mitsubishi Colt.
Developed in Okazaki (Japan) – Global R & D Center of MMC – in less than two years, the Global Small next intended to merge all these “eco / compact”

 “E” as highly efficient in its packaging in general, Mitsubishi Motors, compact design blends the virtues of a small vehicle (,…) maneuverability and excellent visibility, seating five adults in comfort and accommodation of sufficient space for luggage inside a footprint of recycling (3.74 m long x 1.68 m wide): One of the most efficient space segment-B.



 The architecture of this compact is based was designed to accommodate initial customers and predictable regulatory requirements in global markets if ALL Japan, North America, emerging countries or in Europe, instead of costly adjustments later: the first in the class small car .
“E” for “electric vehicle”: a further measure of the environment – and a direct effect of its architecture fully integrated Global Small – compact and is designed to accommodate a further variant, equipped with a 100% electric motor.
2011 Mitsubishi Concept Global Small dedicated center will be built in MMC Laem Chabang Industrial Estate in Chonburi province, Thailand. The planned volume of 150,000 units (with a possible increase to 200,000 units) will be exported to ASEAN countries, Japan, North Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America and in many other markets around the world.
